ABOUT SKY
Sky Olson is an active songwriter, guitarist, and music producer based in Logan, Utah. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Sky pursued a passion for music at a young age and began piano lessons at age 5 and guitar at 11. He has a particular interest in both songwriting and guitar and enjoys sharing his love of music with others.
Sky is an award-winning recording artist known for his breathy vocals, renowned songwriting, and effortless pop production. He was hired at Utah State University as a Songwriting Coach for the MUSC3070 students, teaching songwriting at the college level. He is a multi-time winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. His music has amassed over a half-million streams, and his touring band Sky Olson & The Valley has opened for major acts, including the legendary 80's rock band Starship.
